NBCC Mobile Training Unit
Junior Achievement New Brunswick has partnered with NBCC to bring their Mobile Training Unit to schools across the province. Students in high school along with community members are invited to learn about various skilled trades such as Automotive Service Technician, Auto Body and Collision Technician, Truck and Transport, Carpentry, Welding, Plumbing, Marine Diesel and many more.
Junior Achievement New Brunswick is dedicated to providing young people with the skillsets and mindsets to build thriving communities. With partnerships like NBCC and their Mobile Training Unit, we are able to give students the opportunity to be successful in their futures.
Skilled Trades Summit
The Junior Achievement New Brunswick World of Choices Skilled Trades Summits give students a valuable insight into the world of Skilled Trades.
In collaboration with RBC , Colleges and Institutes Canada and NBCC, the JANB World of Choices Skilled Trades Summits feature demonstrations of the wide variety of employment options that exist in the skilled trades sector in our province. High school students immerse themselves in the world of skilled trades, through hands on learning provided by knowledgeable Instructors.
Mental Well-Being Summit
Junior Achievement NB recognizes New Brunswick youth are facing record-breaking mental health challenges, intensified by digital pressures and economic uncertainty. JANB has taken bold action to equip these young people with vital tools for resilience, ensuring they don’t face these challenges alone.
The JANB Success Skills & Mental Well-Being Summit is a one-day immersive experience, whereby students in grade 8, participate in interactive workshops and experiential activities to discuss the importance of Mental Well-Being. These young people are equipped with the vital tools needed for resiliency, ensuring they meet with success in their futures.
The Power Within: Female Leadership in Action Conference
The Power Within: Female Leadership in Action conference is dedicated to empowering young female students with the confidence, skills, and opportunities to lead boldly. Through inspiring keynotes and thought-provoking hands-on workshops, students explore diverse career paths, build leadership skills and connect with accomplished women who are breaking barriers in their fields.
Designed to leave a lasting impact, the event also offers mentorship circles and networking opportunities that foster meaningful relationships between participants, mentors and peers. Together, we are equipping the next generation of female leaders to embrace their potential and shape a future without limits.

Junior Achievement New Brunswick is committed to providing meaningful experiences to students that highlight the options they have for their futures. One of the ways Junior Achievement New Brunswick provides these experiences is by taking students through tours of different professional sights such as home building and energy facilities.
These experiences help students understand the options they have for their futures and help them realize their potential beyond the classroom.
